About this experience
Food is the easiest way into Jordanian life. On this three-hour evening walk, a local food lover takes you to the places Ammanis queue for: a hummus and falafel house open day and night, a kunafa counter, a spice shop where you smell za'atar and sumac, a traditional sweets maker and a café where men play backgammon.
You taste ten or more dishes – enough for dinner – and learn how to order like a local. Vegetarian-friendly on request.
