About this experience
This itinerary shows you the country in the right order, with time to breathe. You begin in Amman with the Citadel and the Roman city of Jerash, then follow the King's Highway south past Madaba and Mount Nebo to Petra.
With two nights in Petra you can explore the Siq and Treasury on one day and climb to the Monastery on the next. A night under the stars in Wadi Rum follows, and the tour ends floating in the Dead Sea.

Day 1
Arrival – Amman – Jerash
Meet at the airport. City tour of Amman and afternoon in Jerash (if you arrive early), otherwise transfer to your hotel. Overnight Amman.

Madaba – Mount Nebo – Kerak – Petra
Along the King's Highway with stops at the mosaic map, Mount Nebo and Kerak Castle. Overnight Petra.

Petra
Full day with a licensed guide through the Siq to the Treasury, Royal Tombs and the Monastery. Optional Petra by Night. Overnight Petra.

Little Petra – Wadi Rum
Morning at Little Petra, then Wadi Rum: 3-hour jeep tour and sunset. Dinner and overnight in camp.

Wadi Rum – Dead Sea – Airport
Drive to the Dead Sea (about 4 h) for an afternoon at a resort beach, then transfer to the airport for evening flights, or add a night.
