Wadi Mujib

Wade and swim up a narrow sandstone canyon to a waterfall in the lowest nature reserve in the world.

The Mujib river cuts through red cliffs on its way to the Dead Sea. On the Siq Trail you walk, wade and sometimes swim upstream between walls up to 100 metres high, using ropes to climb small cascades, until you reach the waterfall.

The trail is guided and open only in the dry season (about April to October), when flash-flood risk is low. Life jackets are provided; you will get completely wet.
